"Service" refers to the boarding house accommodation services, facilities, and related amenities provided by Regent Plon.
"User" or "You" means any person accessing our website, inquiring about services, or using our accommodation facilities.
"Resident" means individuals who have entered into a formal accommodation agreement with Regent Plon.
"Content" includes all text, images, videos, materials, and information available on our website or provided as part of our services.
"We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Regent Plon, located at 1 Fullerton Road, #15-00, Singapore 049213.
"Premises" refers to the physical building, rooms, facilities, and common areas operated by Regent Plon.
2. Use of Services
Eligibility
- Users must be at least 18 years old to use our services
- Business professionals, diplomats, and international executives are our primary target residents
- All users must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Users must have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Employment verification or proof of professional status may be required
Account Responsibilities
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information
- Accurate information must be provided during registration and kept updated
- Users must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of their account
- Multiple accounts by the same individual are not permitted
- Account sharing with unauthorized individuals is prohibited
Service Availability
Our services are provided for professional accommodation purposes within Singapore. We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to:
- Scheduled maintenance and upgrades
- Emergency repairs or safety procedures
- Force majeure events beyond our control
- Compliance with legal or regulatory requirements
3. Prohibited Uses
Users may not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Legal Violations
- Violate any applicable Singapore laws or regulations
- Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Participate in money laundering activities
- Use services for any illegal business purposes
Property Misuse
- Damage or vandalize property or facilities
- Unauthorized access to restricted areas
- Subletting or unauthorized sharing of accommodation
- Commercial use of residential spaces without permission
Intellectual Property
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Unauthorized reproduction of our content
- Commercial use of our trademarks or branding
- Reverse engineering of our systems or processes
Security & Privacy
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or networks
- Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
- Breach other residents' privacy or confidentiality
- Interfere with building security systems
Disruptive Behavior
- Harass, threaten, or harm other residents or staff
- Create excessive noise or disturbances
- Engage in discriminatory behavior
- Violate community standards or guidelines
Service Abuse
- Misrepresent identity or professional status
- Make false claims or provide misleading information
- Abuse concierge or support services
- Attempt to circumvent payment obligations
4. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, are owned by Regent Plon and are protected by Singapore and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
The Regent Plon name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of our company. You may not use these marks without our express written permission.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our services for personal accommodation purposes only. This license does not include:
- Commercial use or resale of our services or content
- Distribution, public display, or public performance of content
- Modification or derivative works of our content
- Use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering tools
- Reverse engineering or attempting to derive source code
User-Generated Content
By submitting content to us (such as reviews, feedback, or communications), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content in connection with our business operations, including marketing and promotional activities.
5. Disclaimers and Limitations
Service Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to maintain high service standards, we do not warrant that:
- Our services will meet all your specific requirements
- Our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Results obtained from our services will be accurate or reliable
- Defects in our services will be corrected immediately
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Regent Plon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Personal injury or property damage not directly caused by our negligence
- Interruption of services due to circumstances beyond our control
- Third-party actions or omissions affecting our services
Our total liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you for services during the 12 months preceding the incident.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, pandemics, or other emergencies that prevent us from fulfilling our obligations.
6. Termination
Termination Rights
Either party may terminate service agreements with appropriate notice as specified in individual accommodation contracts. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services immediately without prior notice in cases of:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Fraudulent or illegal activities
- Threat to safety or security of residents or staff
- Non-payment of fees or charges
- Breach of accommodation agreement terms
Effects of Termination
Upon termination of services:
- Your right to use our services and facilities immediately ceases
- Outstanding fees and charges become immediately due
- Access to premises and amenities will be revoked
- Personal belongings must be removed within specified timeframes
- Confidentiality obligations continue after termination
Survival of Provisions
Sections relating to intellectual property, confidentiality, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination of these Terms or any service agreement.
7. Dispute Resolution
Initial Resolution Process
Before pursuing formal legal action, parties agree to attempt resolution through the following process:
- Direct Communication: Initial attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication with management
- Formal Complaint: Written complaint submitted to our legal department
- Management Review: Senior management review and response within 14 business days
- Mediation: If unresolved, voluntary mediation through Singapore Mediation Centre
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through the initial process shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
For international residents, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate alternative dispute resolution methods that respect both Singapore law and relevant international agreements.
Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
8. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Regent Plon regarding use of our services, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
No waiver of any term or condition shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term or condition.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights freely.
Headings
Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
Language
These Terms are written in English. Any translations are for convenience only, and the English version shall prevail.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will:

- Notify current residents via email about significant changes
- Post a notice on our website highlighting the updates
- Provide reasonable advance notice for changes affecting existing agreements
Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of our services.
